Sheep. The bible affirms that Jesus came to set the captives free. If you are bound, remember He already paid the price for your freedom. Today we have the assurance that Jesus is still going about setting the captives and the prisoners of the enemy free.
Are you in any form of captivity? Jesus said “woman thou art loosed from thy infirmity.” what a wonderful, comforting word from the Saviour- the one who created the whole earth.
Th voice that said Let there be light and there was light. What happens when a person hears the creative word of Jesus?. No matter how bound the person is the person will be loosed.

Mr Lazarus, was at the lowest part of the ladder He was dead then the voice sounded “Lazarus come forth” immediately life entered into him all the dead organs began to come to alive.
He came walking out of the grave when people hear the voice, Jesus, whether they are bound with chains of spiritual darkness or they are held captive by demonic powers they will be released.
When Jesus was on earth physically, He spoke and blind eyes opened. He spoke and the crippled walked, He spoke and dumb tongue spoke.
DON’T BE IGNORANT OF THE ENEMY DEVICES
Sometimes, the enemy sees that a person is too hot to handle and they cannot do anything to him. They will look for an inanimate object that they will use to attack him.
That is something that will bring him good fortune. Something that he uses to work. They will say let us bring it under bondage, and if you see somebody who lives from debt to debt that is bondage.
The truth is that there are some people that will have their bondage permanently loosed and it will never come back again. There are some even if they get their bondage loosed but in the next few minutes, they will be back in bondage. Those kinds of people when Jesus said to be loose, they are loosed and that bondage never comes back.
FOUR BIBLE SYMBOL OF ANIMALS
For example, a dove is used as a symbol of the Holy Spirit. Another one is the eagle, the bible used it a lot, it must be for a purpose. Another one is the Lamb, the bible says “behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sins of the world”. You will make yourself a good bible student by looking at these symbolic animals.
CLASSIFICATION OF BONDAGE.
As far as the bible is concerned, we can divide it into four groups, each representing a symbolic animal in the scripture.
1: The Sheep.
2: The Goat.
3: The Dog.
4: The Pig.
Of the four groups, bondage only group one (the sheep) can have bondage permanently loosed and not walk back into bondage. I would want you to close your eyes on your seat and talk to the Lord: O Lord, I want to be a sheep; I don’t want to be a dog or a pig.
The question is this: Are you a sheep? Are you a goat? Are you a dog? Or are you a pig? What are the characters of the sheep that make it possible for its own bondage to be permanently loosed?
- The sheep always knows and responds to the voice of the shepherd.
- The sheep is the meekest of all the foregoing four creatures; it is very humble. The question is, are you meek? Are you a humble person?
The sheep is a flock oriented animal.
- Key leaders can take care of a multitude of sheep because they are not difficult to control.
- The sheep is the easiest to feed of all animals. It feeds on the mother’s milk when young.
When it is old, it can eat a large variety of plants. Do you drink the word of God into your spirit? Are you easy to teach or you are unteachable?.
The sheep will seat down and eat. It will bring up what it has eaten, eat it thoroughly and send it back to the stomach.
When sheep gather, it will first of all swallow, later it will return all the grass back to the mouth, chew the thing properly then return it.
Do you treat the word of God like that? Many of us are taking notes now. When you get home, do you sit down to look deeply to what we have learnt to meditate on it?
Are you the kind of person who, immediately we leave now, we will find some of the sermon notes on the floor? That means you are not serious. Maybe you write so that you will not sleep.
- The sheep is meek and unable to defend itself. It depends on the shepherd. Do you depend on God?
- The sheep is dumb, stupid and unintelligent, therefore needing the continuous care of the shepherd. It will be kept away from leaving itself among the mountain or the forest. It means they are not intelligent in their own eyes.
Talking about the Goat, Matthew 25:32-34 says, “And before Him shall be gathered all nations and he shall separate them one from another, as shepherd divide his sheep from the goats.
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goat on the left. Then shall the king say unto them on his right hand, come ye blessed of my father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” That is the end of the life of a goat.
Goats are stubborn. They are always fighting themselves. They are restless and can really sit down to earn anything from God.
The next group are the Dogs. II Peter 2:20 explains it all. Revelation 2:15, tells us where dogs will be in the kingdom of God: For without are dogs and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.”
Why? Dogs can be cruel, bloodthirsty, aggressive when hungry, and can be greedy, selfish and quarrelsome, unlike a sheep.
Now the Pig Matt 7:6, tells you about the pig. They are extremely gluttonous. It will eat anything, anywhere and will get constantly possessed. They are noisy and rather aggressive. They also have a very strong s!xual desire. They are extremely dirty and destructive.
Sincerity is important before God. Repent, be sincere before God. When you are a sheep, your enemies become God’s enemy.
Most importantly, WATCH AND PRAY; Today, the word of God says, “Thou art loose,” and I have told you how you will not get entangled. Now say this prayer;
1. Lord Jesus, speak freedom into every department o my life, in the name of Jesus.
