The bible is saying that a particular power is needed to trample upon three kinds of powers. The procedure to tread on serpents and scorpions is not very easy.

It has to be done aggressively and tactically because it could be dangerous if you miss the target.
JESUS CHRIST ON SPIRITUAL WARFARE
Our Lord Jesus Christ opened our understanding of so many things on spiritual warfare.
There were so many things that were not clear to the old testament people. It was when Jesus came that He made some things clear to us.
For example, when Satan was destroying the inheritance of Job and his substance, job thought it was God because he did not know.
The devil was able to hide because as at that time Jesus was not in the picture physically.
In the old testament they played some music to arrest demons, but during His sojourn on earth Jesus did not play music to arrest demons rather, He harassed and silenced them at other times He cast them out.
It was Jesus that made us know that you can speak to evil spirits because He told them to shut up and get out.
Jesus also made us know about the power and the entity known as the “strong man”. Mathew (12:29).
We did not understand this from the old testament times, but Jesus taught us. I decree every strong man assigned against you shall be buried alive, in the name of Jesus.
It was Jesus who also taught us the P.U.S.H. (Pray Until Something Happens) kind of prayer.
He told us about a widow who kept harassing the judge saying, “Avenge me of my adversaries” Luke 18:3.
He taught us that persistent prayer usually yields a result. It was Him who also taught us to put our axe at the root and not the leaves of a tree.
The Bible says “behold the axe is laid unto the root of a tree” Luke 3:9. Jesus showed us many things about spiritual welfare.
He made us understand that fasting is needed to resolve certain issues. He told His disciples that some demons cannot go out except by fasting and prayer Mark 9:29.
Jesus taught the key of power. He said to His disciples, “Tarry ye in Jerusalem until ye shall receive power from on high” Luke 24:49.
Jesus also taught us that darkness does not fight the darkness. He said a kingdom divided against itself will fall. He went further to classify all enemies and all attacks of the enemy into two categories.
The serpentine department.
The scorpion department
We know more about the serpent but not much is known about the scorpion. Why did Jesus use scorpion to symbolise the powers of darkness?
What is special about scorpions? Jesus explained to us that serpents and scorpions represent satanic powers. He grouped them as evil spirits representing the powers of darkness in all ramifications.
SCORPIONS
What are scorpions? They are venomous animals, they may not kill immediately but the poison goes inside the body through the sting.
So scorpions represent that would bite and it would appear as if nothing has happened. Only for the thing to manifest later.
Scorpions are shaped like lobsters and are found in dry and dark places. They are carnivorous in nature and move about in a threatening manner with their tails raised up for an attack.
At the tip of the tail is their poison punch. The scorpion is a very frightful creature, it has eight feet, eight eyes with a long segmented tail that used as a weapon.
It is a dangerous insect, it gets easily provoked and can cause death within a few minutes. Revelation 9 verses 3 and 5 talks about the power of the scorpion to torment and to destroy.
A SCORPION IS DEVOID OF MERCY. IT DISPLAYS WICKEDNESS IN ITS MOST DESTRUCTIVE FORM.
SAMSON AND DELILAH
The most celebrated example of scorpion witchcraft in the bible was the case of Delilah and Samson.
If Delilah was to face Samson in a boxing or wrestling bout, Samson would break Delilah into pieces.
But when the battle of the scorpion started, she had already gained a foothold in Samson’s life completely and Samson did not know.
The trouble with scorpion witchcraft is that some people might have been stung from the womb.
Some might have been stung as children and some when they were unbelievers but no manifestation yet

1: Serpentine witchcraft vomits my virtues and die in the name of Jesus
2: Fetish powers release my star in the name of Jesus.
3: O God arise and destroy any witch or wizard stealing my prosperity in the name of Jesus.
4: O God arise and kill any witch and wizard troubling my life in the name of Jesus.
