The bible says in the last days, evil men and seducers shall wax stronger, which means that there will be an increase in evil activities.
That is exactly what is going on presently in the world.
Wickedness is at a very high level in our society. Modern days Christians have taken so many things for granted, no wonder someone said that Christians are God’s frozen people.
That is, we are been compared to frozen fish or frozen chicken. We only sit down and allow all sorts of a mess to be thrown at us without reacting with the weapons God has made available to us in the bible.

The bible clearly warns us about the rage of false prophets and more than at any other time in the history of Christianity, there are more false prophets and prophetesses now.
Many of them are on television and many of them are on the street distributing fliers. If you interview them, you realise that they can not point to any true man of God as their father in the Lord.
They cannot tell the bible school or church they attended or how they got their calling, yet they call themselves prophets. If you probe further you will discover that they have no salvation experience to share
They cannot tell you about sanctification or the baptism of the Holy Spirit yet, they are working miracles, signs and wonders.
Many people have fallen prey and their lives have been destroyed by these categories of prophets. I am disturbed by the atrocities committed by these false prophets.
Many people are in deep problems and bondage because they passed through the cage of lying prophets, and many are in their cages and dungeons now.

When you are too lazy to pray, too lazy to read the bible, too lazy to tarry before God, but eager to move about, you will become a slave to lying prophets.
Matthew 24:11 says “and many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many” verse 24: For there shall arise false Christ, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
It is pertinent to say that Jesus did not say many prophets may arise, He said “shall arise” and again He did not say small but great signs and wonders.
Moses stood by the rock and the children of Israel cried unto him, give us water and God told Moses to speak to the rock but instead, Moses smote the rock in anger and said shall we bring out water for you people? Moses acted in rebellion and in disobedience to God and yet there was a miracle.
Many of the signs and wonders we see today are signs and wonders of disobedience and rebellion which false prophets are displaying.
All over the world, there are false prophets teaching terrible things that will make people become double the children of hellfire.
Can prophets tell lies to the people? Can prophets be deceived?. Yes, prophets can be deceived and programmed to tell lies.
Ezekiel 14: 9 says “And if the prophet is deceived when He hath spoken a thing, I the Lord have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
We have the case of king Ahab, where four hundred prophets told him to go to war and he would win. Only one prophet said, “king if you go, you won’t come back”.
King Ahab got really angry but the prophet did not budge. He told him that God had put lying spirits in all the other prophets to deceive him.
The head of other prophets also got angry and slapped the prophet of God. King Ahab ordered that he should be jailed and given bread and water of affliction until he comes back from war.
The prophet of God said oh people hear me, if this king comes back from that battle, then the Lord has not spoken by me.Why did God use a lying spirit to deceive Ahab?
King Ahab never returned from that battle. If you have somebody you are consulting apart from your bible and the Holy Spirit, and God sees that you have a heart of a prostitute, He will programme lies into that prophet you are going to see to deceive you then problems will begin.
WHO IS A PROPHET ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE?
1: A prophet is a man or woman with insights into the will and purpose of God.
2: Prophets are oracles of Jehovah and you can simply call them divine mouthpiece of God.
3: Prophets are the voice of God in warning, rebuilding, rebuking and in correction.
4: A prophet is a man with his head in heaven.
5: Prophets foretell events and see in the spirit.
6: Simply put, a prophet is basically a spokesman for God.
They are role models of holiness and closeness to God. It is in this our generation that you find a prophet coming to television to say “I am a prophet, I have seen and I am still planning to marry another one.
“The more I marry the more the power increases.” You still find people who are members of those kinds of churches.
You find a prophet caught in the hotel in a compromising way with his female member. Thereafter, he can still return to the pulpit to tell the congregation that it is the grace of God.
MODERN WITCHCRAFT
Now, you would discover that witchcraft, sorcery and magic have been rebranded and repackaged to suit the taste of modern man.
It is the witch-doctors of those days who looked unkempt and live in shrines and huts. These days, they move about in their three-piece suits with their oracle in their briefcases or handbags. They have swallowed theirs satanic alters in the stomach.

A prophet of the highest God will receive dreams and vision from the Lord and it will be 100% accurate.
A true prophet of God will not give any revelation that is contrary to the scriptures.
I know the struggles, the prayers the vigils and fasting that some people have had to undertake on behalf of so many people after leaving the or getting them out of the cage of lying prophets.
A woman came to me in 1995 with a heart-wrenching story. She had a problem and was introduced to a particular prophet who promises to help her.
The prophet took her to the cemetery. That is why it is good to read and understand the bible. The bible says there is no relationship between the living and the dead.
The angels said to the people who came looking for Jesus on the third day after His crucifixion, “why seek ye the ling amongst the dead”
Imagine, the prophet took the living to the land of the dead in the middle of the night and when they got to a particular grave, he asks the woman to lie on top of the tombstone.

The lady complied and the prop[het remove his trousers and underwear. She said, “a prophet what is going to happen?” He said I must sleep with you so that the prayers can be answered.?
Since she was desperate she agreed, just like there are many troubled souls today looking for a solution everywhere.
That, of course, was a small problem but she noticed in the course of their immoral act that the prophet had a little padlock that was opened in his hands but when he was about ejaculate, he closed the padlock and since that day the woman’s womb vanished.
He transferred her womb to somewhere else. It was a big battle through prayers before she got married and had children.
Those prophets do all manner of things with people’s destinies, they take people to the stream for “holy bath.” They ask members to carry snakes for the bible says it shall not hurt them.
Some of them ask their members to lie down on the floor while they trample upon them.
They ask members to bring water to the church to be kept on the altar for seven days before usage.
Some ask their members to come to church with a particular colour of garment for prayers. The question is where are all these written in the bible?.
Anybody looking for ministerial power without paying the price is knocking on the door of a false prophet. So many people have been deceived.
They are far more ready to preach love than judgement, and when you only preach the love of God, it gives a distorted picture of God. God does nothing which is not necessary.
God and man were friends but they changed when sin came in between them. That sin had to be punished and that made hell fire necessary.
You cannot be a true follower of Jesus without warning people about the consequences of sin and hellfire. So you must be everything within your power and the confines of the bible to grow to maturity spiritually.
If you don’t grow the enemy will deal with you.
WHAT ARE THE CHARACTERISTICS OF FALSE PROPHETS?
1: They only tell people what they want to hear. They present the truth mixed with error.
2: They exploits the biblical illiteracy of people.
3: They major in extra-biblical teachings and revelations.
4: They downplay anything that has to do with judgment.
5: They have no mentor or no father-in-the Lord
They have or produce very strange disciples and enslave people in the process.
They teach and project hell-fast-tracking doctrines.
There is a new message on the street called the message of grace. Many pastors are preaching to young people that grace is sufficient for sin and their lives are being destroyed with this kind of message.
The bible says shall we remain in sin that grace may abound?. The Bible urges us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling.
They preach to young people not to worry, that nobody is going to heaven or hellfire and that by the grace of God, we shall be spared the agony of hellfire.
CONCLUSION
The bottom line is that you must grow spiritually to avoid these pitfalls. Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry is a do it yourself ministries.
